A River Runs Through It

The space On the main floor there is a gathering space which includes an open-concept kitchen, living room with fireplace, dining areas, and a game table. The large wrap-around porch is a beautiful place to sit in the mornings and soak up the sun, enjoy the view, or share an evening meal. This is a great location for birding and watching wildlife that live on the property. *NEW ADDITION: We have added a game room in the garage that contains a foosball table, shuffleboard, game table, and ping pong table! **The house has Wi-Fi and the TVs throughout the home are streaming ready (no cable). There is an attached manager-occupied apartment above the garage across the breezeway so we can answer questions or address any issues that might come up. Bedrooms Master Bedroom: 1 king bed and 1 queen sleeper sofa. 1st Upstairs Bedroom: 1 queen bed. 2nd Upstairs Bedroom: 2 full sized beds. Library Adjacent to Gathering Area: 1 queen sleeper sofa. Bathrooms Master Bathroom: Full bath, double sinks, and walk-in closet. Upstairs Bathroom: Full jack and jill bathroom with shared toilet and tub/shower and separate vanities for each of the two upstairs bedrooms. Downstairs Bathroom: Half bath located in the hallway downstairs off the entrance. Cabin Addition Located on the property is a historic, restored sod house with a live green roof. The house has a small kitchen and 3/4 bath. One full-size bed and one queen bed are located at one end of the open space where you can fall asleep to the sound of the river. The sod house sleeps four and is available to reserve (for an added fee) in addition to the main house May through September, weather permitting. This addition is $100/night plus an additional cleaning fee of $75. There is no A/C in the sod house, but it stays pretty cool, so it isn't really needed! ***The cabin is a rustic experience for those who don’t mind the possibility of sharing the space with the occasional insect that finds its way inside.
